Engineer – Direct Recruitment for Established Industrial Client in Höglandet

We are currently looking for an engineer for direct employment with one of our clients in Höglandet. The role is central to the organization and involves close collaboration between technology, production, and customers. You will have the opportunity to influence both product development and working methods in a business with high technical expertise.

About the Role:

As an engineer, you are responsible for developing technical solutions that are functional, cost-effective, and tailored for production. The work includes both new development and further development of existing products, where quality and feasibility are crucial factors.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and further improve design solutions in collaboration with colleagues and other functions.
Prepare technical documentation to support calculations and quotation work.
Participate in testing, trials, and technical verification of products.
Engage in work related to complaints, deviation management, and quality follow-up.
Standardize and document design solutions, methods, and technical instructions.
Ensure that models and designs are adapted for stable and efficient production.

Responsibilities and Authority:

Actively contribute to the long-term development of the team and the company.
Drive your own improvement work within assigned processes and areas of responsibility.
Ensure technical solutions with a focus on quality, cost, and sustainability.
Identify risks and deviations and take necessary actions.
Represent the technology in dialogue with customers as needed, primarily in quotation and development phases.
Stay updated in the technical field through continuous professional development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

Has at least two years of experience in design work within an industrial environment.
Communicates fluently in English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus.
Has practical experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD systems.
Is confident in reading drawings and has a good understanding of technical requirements and product quality.
Works analytically and solution-oriented even with complex technical challenges.
Is structured, meticulous, and has a professional approach to details.
